Content is always in high demand. Right now the focus seems to be on Private Label Rights (or PLR) articles. PLR articles are pre-written and sold in packages to online businesses looking for content. The big selling points of PLR articles are that you may edit the articles and that there is no author bio required (so they don’t have any outbound links).
Compare PLR articles to free reprint articles. Free reprint articles from places like ezinearticles.com or freeaffiliatearticles.com are written by people who have something they’d like to share. (Or, they are sometimes written by people just publishing junk, in the hopes that they’ll get some incoming links. But, good article directories will delete those, so we’ll focus on the good ones here.)
So, which is better? Honestly, each has its place. Sometimes you’ll find an excellent free reprint article that you’ll want to share with your readers and you won’t mind a bit having an outbound link, especially if there is an affiliate program associated with it. The free reprint article added value to your readers, and you didn’t have to write the article. That’s what free reprint articles are all about.
Other times you’ll already have an idea in mind for a topic and you’ll just want a boost getting that section of your website done. If you run across a high quality PLR package on that niche, you’re set to go.
So, how do you know which PLR service or membership to choose? Here are some guidelines to follow:
1. Some PLR sites offer a monthly membership where you receive a grab-bag of articles – on any topic. If you already know what you need, this may be a waste of money. Other PLR sites will list topics and you can buy the articles in a shopping cart. That ensures you receive the articles you need when you need them.
2. Are the articles written by professional writers with experience? Or are they outsourced to the cheapest overseas help they can find – no matter the quality? If the articles are going to be a reflection of your business, you’ll want to ensure that the articles are well-written.
3. Who’s running this thing? Is the PLR site run by someone who knows about content or someone who thinks they can ride the content wave and make a quick buck? Make sure you’re hitching your wagon to someone who knows what they’re doing.
Those are just a few tips to keep you from wasting money on a PLR site that you can’t use. Continue to use free reprint articles, but look into PLR articles as well. They can both benefit your website and your business.

When many people think of starting their own business, they go out and look at all the different options out there. Eventually, they will come upon the online world. Then it’s like a vacuum. They get sucked in and can even drown in the information.

What is a niche?
I hear this question a lot, especially among those new to Internet marketing. So, to put it simply, a niche is a nothing more than a specific group of people with a common interest. For instance, you may be interested in or have a lot of knowledge about boats and boating. While that is more of a broad, general niche, when it comes to niche marketing it really helps to narrow the field down even further, to reach an even more specified group of people.
You need to think of how you could narrow down boating to reach a tighter group of people within the broader boating niche. There are the various types of boats, boating products such as special waxes and cleaners, boating attire and boating gear. You could even narrow your niche down a little further within those categories and sell one specific product from it.
Another good example to help answer this question, is the food industry. While the food industry is obviously extremely huge, there are thousands, if not millions, of products you could sell to a more defined niche.
Niche marketing is marketing to a specified group of people. Some of you may be asking, “Why would I want to target such a seemingly small group of people?”
There are a few reasons actually. First, while it may seem like you’re marketing to a much smaller group of people, what you are actually doing is targeting a very laser focused group of individuals who are specifically interested in what you have to offer.
Being a niche marketer works well because larger businesses don’t bother focusing on one or two specific products. If you do your research before settling on a niche, you should be able to find a niche that not very many other people are reaching with a specific product. This helps set you up as the go to person without having to compete with those larger companies.
So, now that we’ve answered, “What is a niche?” let’s talk about choosing a niche that’s right for you
When niche marketing, it helps to build a business or sell something you’re passionate about. Because you’ll be focused and considered an expert, you also need to have a lot of knowledge about your specific product or service. Think about something you love to do, such as a hobby first. Then think about how you can narrow it down to a more specific group of responsive people. You may need to do some additional research to gain all the knowledge you can, but it will pay off.

So where do you start?
Here is what I would do!
Using the keword research videos that I have included as a bonus, find a good keyword to use in your domain. I normally register my domains through GoDaddy.com and you can do a search on the internet for discount coupons that will let you get the domain for under $7.
Once you have your domain name you will need to get a hosting account. I use HostGator for this and would suggest the ‘Baby’ hosting plan. Hostgator provides you with cPanel while GoDaddy has their own proprietary control panel with limited functionality.
Once your website is up and running you will want to get your blog setup. For what we are doing I would set the blog up in a subdirectory of your choice. We are going to be using the root folder for the squeeze page. Make sure you use the Wordpress template that is included with the ‘Achieve Your Dreams’ niche website package.
You will want to take a couple of chapters from the ebook and create a free report (this is allowed under the ebooks rights). Graphics are include for a spiral bound report e-cover. You can also add a couple of the articles to this or write your own content to add to the report.
Next you will need an autoresponder so you can add the code to the squeeze page and start building your list around this niche. Once the code is setup on the squezze page you will want to upload this to the website in the root folder.
You will also want to setup a confirmation page to send your subscribers to so you can let them know that they will need to confirm their email address. Once they confirm you will need to have a download page setup for them to download their free report. Again, all of this needs to be uploaded to your website.
OK, now you can start adding some or all of the articles to your blog. Make sure you rewrite them some before posting. You will want to spread this out so that you are only posting every one or two days. You can use Wordpress to schedule your posts. At the end of each post direct your reader to the free report that you set the squeeze page up for.
This will get your visitors into your autoresponder so you can stay in touch with them now that you know they are interested.
At this point I would get the ebook together by adding a few links to related affiliate products at the end of the ebook. You can also also a few links spread throughout the ebook, but keep this to a minimum since they will have to pay for this.
Now use your autoresponder and start sending your subscribers to your sales page and start making some sales!
So this has been a very brief description of just a small amount of what can be done with this ‘Achieve Your Dreams‘ complete niche website and PLR.
